You may have the wrong forum, for 2nd gen sedans you want the sti-r lens.

The screws holding the lens are definitely very difficult to take off. Use a good screw driver. I had to put down just enough body weight on the screw driver so I don't ruin the screw.
There might have been red or blue thread lock there (don't remember now). I wonder if a thread lock remover or PB blaster may help.
Not sure what the purpose of painting the cutoff shield is. I do remember reading a post that there's a secondary shield that can be removed to get a sharper cutoff.

OK, thanks. I probably wont attempt using any solvents/liquids on the projector. I can probably manage a screwdriver.
Painting the cutoff shield gives a nice effect, gives the lights some colour when off. I havent seen it on any Gs or Zs though :S
