It just depends, I have gotten bumpers in the past that are perfect, just needes primed and painted. And then theres polyurethane, which needs nothing. But it shouldnt be excessive amounts of repair. A spot here or there yea, but not alot.

On a positive note, just got a call from Eric and he didn't like the quality of the batch of bumpers he had and didnt want to ship out poor quality stuff. Lots of airbubbles and cracks, he said cause his guy was doing the inside part wrong which caused the bubbles and such. Hes getting the new batch that he said will be flawless, and he's gonna throw in express delivery since its already like a week after my original ship date, which I know is nothing compared to some peoples, but it works for me. So relieved to at least know whats goin on. I dont mind the wait as long as I know whats up.

Same thing he told me. That definitely helps.

(unless your talking about a bumper that came painted)
um...actually, if I wait 3 months for a product, I'd expect it to be ready to go to the painter w/out flaws.. Not to having to pay more money on top of what I'd already had for more preparation to paint it.. The fitment wasn't an issue.. It was the cracks and quarter sized dents in it that had to be filled before painting.. I don't think that should be expected by any consumer. If that's the case, that should be explained prior to purchase.

WOW!! beautiful, what color is that? ... and you are right in the sense that a product should be prepared for the time period we waited.. however,
we waited due to other circumstances, he wasn't working on the bumpers to perfect them for 3 months.

also, i had the same small cracks and quartersize dents, no big deal but i think this is something all aftermarket bumpers come with.

It's Twilight Blue..

I was waiting just like everyone else.. waiting to hear of an update of status..

I just posted pics of my recently received order.. I got my stuff and installed it like 2 weeks or so ago.. Prior to that, I was waiting 3 months to hear anything.

I was just saying that ordering something, and waiting for so long for it to come, or to hear anything about it, you'd expect it would come ready to be painted, not needing additional prep work and costing additional funds on top of painting.

I've ordered from him many times and haven't had a problem. But I bought side skirts from him recently and they came quickly. But with the way they were packaged, there were a bunch of little fractures in it, and also had about 3-4 decent sized chips in it. Ended up costing me about $560 for the paint + repair without install.

I'm sure he sent ones that were in good condition and its the delivery problem, but the edges of the sideskirts were just wrapped in tape, and not covered in a box. Oh well. I'll still order from him when I'm ready to buy a rear.
