Locksmith (NiftyShifty)

https://g35driver.com/forums/accesso...available.html

I have ordered quite a number of things from Locksmith, including:
5AT Shift boot for my car
Sent off console for reupholstering
Friend's 300ZX 5MT shift boot (had to send original for template)
Friend's 300ZX console for reupholstering
Friend's 300ZX parking brake boot (had to send original for template)
Friend's Miata 5MT shift boot (he got one of his friend's miata boot to make a template)

The initial quality was fantastic on everything. Good fit, nice finish, fantastic communication, discounts for repeat business and multiple part discount, he even gave me a free shift boot at one point because he changed materials and wanted to make sure the console and boot matched perfectly!!!
Also went out of his way to find a Miata shift boot to make a template because I wanted to buy one for a friend of mine as a surprise, so I couldn't send that one (obviously) but Locksmith got the OEM boot off one of his friends, and used it as a template, made a leather boot and sent it to me, and both me and the guy I bought it for were shocked at the high quality of workmanship and materials used.

The only downfall is the "suede" material isn't very fade resistant, and after a couple years now, my boot and console have started to fade. For all I know, he may not even use the same material anymore... but it's nothing I'm going to sweat over, considering I really should do a better job of keeping the UV rays out of my car anyway

I fully plan on ordering a new boot and center console soon, this time in leather instead of the faux-suede, that should resolve the fading issue.

All in all I HIGHLY recommend this vendor to anyone.

I also ordered a suede shift boot from him, fitment and quality of craftmanship is amazing, my only concern is if the suede is UV resistant, I hope locksmith (nifty shifty) can chime in and answer this, id really hate for it to fade after a while, but then again its a cheap fix so no big worries, im thinking about going leather afterwards "IF" the suede does fade,

THANKS AGAIN LOCKSMITH FOR YOUR AMAZING WORK!!

I got one of his boots In leather and thought at first the fit may have been a smidge on the tight side but the leather relaxed with some use and I couldn't have asked for a better product. If I need another would order from again in a heartbeat. For mine through sxcxyx though- I think they have an arrangement.
