In the meantime R1 and the marketplace look like good options- though as JBF points out all bodykit vendors are going to suffer the same potential bottleneck. It will, however, be in how they communicate with their customers that defines whether they succeed or fail.

It's ALWAYS been about communication. I don't think I've ever seen anyone in here banging the drum because of a well communicated delay.

I guess until the "mysterious" Ed from CBK shouts out and takes a bow, the masses will remain somewhat hesitant.

That apparently seemed to be the issue with Strafe. Nothing was ever in stock (allegedly), and the suppliers weren't filling inventory as fast as orders were coming in.

At least that was the consistent excuse that came about.

In regards to whoever picks up the slack of selling body kits, I hope communication is their #1 priority. I don't blame anyone for wanting to know where their money went. And it may take daily updates to customers in order to stay ahead of the game.

R1 asked me to keep him out of the thread. But I have dealt with him in private sales deals and I don't think he'll have any trouble getting people what they want...as long as he doesn't run in to issues with suppliers.

Edit: VIS is not the only supplier according to Lawrence when I dealt with him last. VIS is usually the most reliable when it comes to in stock items.

We got parts from CBK also. They were known at the time as Import Trendz. That is where we got the HD parts. When we found out about the Eric, Kris79 and Veronica mold scam we refused to buy from them. It was told to Us by Eric's now Partner JayR that Eric owned the molds. When Eric started working off his debt to IT (CBK) Getting our other parts started to be scarce or delayed and orders were being messed up. Wrong parts were shipped and so on. Jayr started to raise our "wholesale prices over Eric's prices and handed us a large bill. We were in litigation with them and couldn't discuss this on the forum. We settled for a lesser amount and then just before Eric and Jayr left Ed high and dry, Jayr breached his contract with us and published a false thread on the forum. We are still in ligation and will be in court Feb 13. Ed from CBK was unaware all this was happening as Jayr lied to him and started Baus with Eric. So yes I was pissed at the time and stopped buying from IT (CBK).

CSP I know you think you know the complete story but sorry you don't. We bought from IT, AIT,VIS,ED,Seibon. I think you got a little mislead by Eric too. I know you try your best to make things right on here and all. I tried to tell you, but you think I'm so bad and you know me.

VIS had some issues with stock and getting the parts in the states. We were waiting for them to come from China and some parts were delayed up to 6 months or more. Even Our molds for Strafe speed line is in China. Hence the trunks and stuff having VIS labels. we at 1 time allowed Eric to get our trunks. Then we stopped him because of shady stuff. Yes I confronted eric face to face at VIS in front of the owner and face to face Eric was not the sharp tongue he is on here in fact he was quiet. Real tough guy.
So yes I know Ed the owner of CBK he started the name as he took over from the mess Jayr left him. Eric was never a employee of IT or CBK he worked under Jayr in some shady agreement to pay off his debt to Ed. I don't work for Ed or with Ed.I am having parts made for my BMW and FX35. I still have the Strafe name under the end of the tax year. I still sell under that name and pay taxes. I took eric and Jayr to court to establish a few things about them not being a Business and since have reported them to the proper authorities. We don't owe any money to anyone and all chargebacks were paid. We had total 15 to 20 bad transactions. Eric Baus never owned containers He used that excuse to lie to the forum because he knew he would have the same issues as we did as Strafe with slow product getting here. The guy just used different words and claims to thwart off the same problems we had. The forum believed he was a new man and savior. The parts we had ordered came in stock , but since Strafe was no more on here it looked like Eric was on the game and had parts.
Dustin is my friend and he moved on to work for Internet Brands.

BTW I tried to make JBF happy on some sideskirts. The same time ALFHASG bought the same skirts. Impul sides to this day fit like crap and need a lot of work we tried to fit them to every car as some cars we had luck with. Keep in mind all bodykit dealers have same policy 'As-Is" and take it to a bodyshop for fitment. I tried 3x to make JBF happy and Alf I tried to use both sets the purchased to see if it worked and a few other sets. This is where they get the statement USED sets. I could have not drove over 100 miles back and forth to make them happy and stated well we do say as is.
I tried to satisfy them both and you see what I got back for doing that. Had I known JBF would be such a whiner I would have refunded him or told him to pound salt. This is the reason I took such a strong stance on Our Disclaimer and stuck to it. Right or wrong I know where we made mistakes ..I'm not going to dispute every deal that went bad.

So Please leave me out of the Eric issues. I told people to include the Mods and Admins and IB that Eric should have never been allowed back. Ed got hosed and he is real and the owner of CBK he really is a soild guy trying to get back on track and get his parts sold. The forum isn't the only place Eric and his partner screwed over.

I was given crap about my son learning the biz and using my account and it seems funny JBF was allowed to use Eric's.
These people do know Eric in person. Most of the people with Baus on their sigs or cars know him and vouched for him. IDK you make your own conclusions. Don't believe everything you read on here by them..Where are all the Baus defenders now? doing coverup or damage control...LULZ.

Who sells more (bulk sales)
Who has the best business mind and customer skills

No damage control from me and I have BAUS in my sig as they are one of my sponsors. Very disappointing and frustrating to see whats happening with BAUS.

Their threads haven't been moved yet because they weren't immediately perma banned like Strafe was, per IB the ban was temporary. The staff has been talking with IB to find out if there are any updates. As soon as we have an update IB or someone on the staff will communicate it with the forum.
