Yet Another GT-R Video
Yet Another GT-R Video
Here is what is probably the last video of the GT-R until the Tokyo Auto Show. I also believe this is one of the best videos yet. It bested the 911 Turbo's lap time by a couple of tenths. Very, very, close!

Good vid...
Hopefully Nissan offers a manual version of the GTR. So far I've only noticed the triptronic version.
A GTR just wouldnt be a GTR without a real manual transmission.

I told myself I wold stop specualting but I have to wonder about this one. Edmunds is quoted as saying this:
Maybe we're all wrong and it is in fact a twin turboed 35HR? That would certainly seal whats going to go into the '08 coupe and would financially make more sense. Nissan just completely redesign the VQ35DE to create the VQ35HR, why create separate engine only to increase displacement .2 liters? So then the '07 G sedan, '08 G Coupe, and GT-R would all have the VQ35HR, only, the G GT-R has a twin turbo attached. This would also easily pave the way for a high performance G if Infiniti is thinking of creating one. One engine, so many different models. Sounds just like Nissan, lol.
Two short intake plenums with three barely visible runners on each side suggest a V6, as we expected. There's no conclusive evidence that it's Nissan's recently redesigned VQ35HR V6, but the front cover just behind the oil dipstick is consistent with current VQ design.
