I got my coupe a couple of months ago and last year it didnt seem like there were many G35's. But this year it has totally changed. There a lot more in the parking lots and around campus in general. If you go to UCI and want to meet up, reply to this message and we will arrange something.

you guys should have the meet at the park next to the irvine city hall/police station on harvard and alton. show up the cops, but just make sure you don't jaywalk or else you'll get cited.

irvine police don't do jack.. a buddy of mine got a ticket for driving the wrong way in a parking lot.. i understand if it's during a busy day this could be dangerous, but this was like in an empty parking lot at 12am.. seriously, give me a break..

don't get me wrong, i've met one or two and they seemed to be cool, but most of them, are just a bunch of losers.. they love to prey on imports..

haha oh wells, i don't go there anymore, but those who do, just be careful of them irvine popos..

yes be very AWARE of keyers at UCI. i got keyed once, but i removed it myself.

 

that's b/c irvine is one of the safest cities in america, and since there's virtually no crime, the cops have absolutely nothing to do. what better way to fill their ticket quota and have some fun by harassing students at uci. i have seen irvine pd stop a group of 30 students and cited ALL of them for jaywalking. in any other city you would ask "don't the cops have something better to do", but not in irvine..

that's actually not true.. it WAS once the safest cities.. the city can no longer claim it has that title.. if i recall from the research my friend did on the city for his paper, the crime has risen, mostly due in part to crimes related to the college.. that city is safe, but i'd still be careful..

i still agree with you tho, the irvine pd do pick on the students because they have nothing better to do.. they would pick traffic violations over some real crime..

Actually there is crime in Irvine! (shocked gasp arises from the crowd) It jsut that the irvine police completely and totally control an news or reporting of issues in irvine to make sure it continues to seem like a crimeless city. I have two friends in the PD there...believe me - Irvine has crime.

I'm down with a meet at UCI, i work in the University Research Park area. Just let me know!
