HAWAII: Mochiball 2003
Re: HAWAII: Mochiball 2003
Spoonsport,
Good to have you in. Are both cars coming? Or just one? Either way, nice to have you coming. We have modified some things and will be posting them soon.

XLR8SN,
I think we'll take the wife's car this time. I like driving her sedan more than the coupe. I know it sounds strange but the sedan feels better to me. I guess its b/c of my bad knees and back from jumping outta planes! :-)

cbr600rr,
Things have been modified and the turn out will be about 20 cars. This will be fine as then we can keep it focused and I think that everyone will still have a lot of fun. I have been leaving messages for you on your phone. When you can, call me on the secondary number. I will do the best that I can to brief you.
Take care.

Sorry everyone. I've already made a commitment to my friends who are having their own cruise and bbq party afterwards on the same day. Have fun!

Re: HAWAII: Mochiball 2003
The RSVP list has been closed, but thought to post just in case.
There has been some modifications to this event.
Once again, as a reminder, please be there at 10:15A. There will be a drivers meeting at 10:30A and we will start the first car out promptly at 11:00A. In the drivers meeting, we will be going over the rules and objectives. The check points have also been changed. Some hints might be given at the meeting regarding the route, which is mainly undisclosed.
The biggest change however, is that there will not be a $20.00 fee as mentioned in the first postings. Due to the amount of participants, there has been a change. Instead of paying the $20, we ask that you bring several canned goods for the food drive going on at Tony Nissan, where we will be ending up. This event may be televised, and/or covered by the media, thus please make sure that you remember to bring some canned goods, esspecially if it is you that they film or take a picture of. The purpose of this event has been changed and will be advertised by Tony Nissan as a joint effort between the clubs and Tony Nissan in supporting the Hawaii Food Bank.
We are anticipating only the cars that had RSVP'd or have been directly contacted. It is also on that count, lunch has been based on. If any other 350Z, Z Club member, or G35's come in that were not on the list, it should be no problem. However, lunch might be on a BYOB basis since the head count has already been submitted. We will still do our best to accomodate everyone.
If anyone has even a slight though of maybe attending that has not RSVP to any of us, please post that intent on this thread. We are still hunting for more 350Z's though, anyone know any?
Thanks-XLR8SN

Oh ya; ...and I didn't mean to take off like that at the beach, I wasn't used to/with sandy parking. All I wanted was catch up with George, next thing I know: "slip" light is on and the smell of my tires.
