They are out of Carlsbad but he is mobile.
I had two bad nicks and one curb scratch on front and rear wheels. I can not tell they were ever there.

Tred, thanks for the info. Yah, if you don't mind, how much did it cost. Is he willing to travel to LA?

Re: Rim Curb Rash

My rims were damaged at a "cough cough" car wash they pick up the tab for the fix.
I think the price was $170.00 for both wheels. On mine he used a drammel tool and blended them away then painted and clear coated them. Sometime I think there is a difference from the original finished but most of the time I can not tell. I would do it again before I would buy new wheels.

Hey guys,
I will give Miguel a call and let him know that we have some business for him. First, let's think of a centralized spot, date, time where we could all meet up. I am in Torrance. What about you guys?

Re: Rim Curb Rash

blended them? He didn't have to fill the scratch or anything? I'm quoted $109/wheel w/no tires or $125 w/tires to fix curb rash in the Bay Area.

Re: Rim Curb Rash

I am in Irvine (off the 73) during daylight weekdays... and in Rowland evenings/weekends.

I have the OEM 17" sport aluminum alloy wheels. I have some abrasions from a wheel brush that had some gravel in the bristles....can he touchup OEM alloys?

Also, I wonder if the clearcoat would look good on these rims...might even help in cleaning off the brake dust?

let me know...
