SF Bay Area dealership recommendation?

Hey guys,

A friend of mine is looking to buy a G35 Coupe ASAP. He test drove a 6-speed yesterday and really likes it. Can any of you SF Bay Area folks recommend a good Infiniti dealer and/or salesperson? He's in the San Jose area, but anywhere in the SF Bay Area would work. He doesn't mind driving a bit if it means getting a good deal.

We stopped by Frontier Infiniti (on Stevens Creek) yesterday, and they are firm on MSRP. Is it possible to get below MSRP? How much did you guys pay for yours? I don't know anything about market prices for these cars, so any advice regarding that is greatly appreciated.

My friend wants a black on black, 6-speed, with navigation system. Any advice regarding which dealers to visit would be awesome.

Thanks a bunch!

Frontier's where I got mine couple months back. Got a little over $1000 off MSRP. They're definitely more lenient on the AT models, 6MT I know they're pretty **** about that. Try Pleasanton or Seaside. I know Seaside is a small dealership and they were definitely willing to deal on a 6MT when I was shopping.

I bought my 6MT sedan from Peninsula Infiniti from Jim Howland. He was an awesome salesman and very knowledgable. He was 0-pressure, but I am not sure how much of a deal you could get for a coupe. Good luck!

I bought my sedan from frontier. I know sedans are a different story than the coupe but I got 4k off of msrp. My salesman was tim tung. He was pretty good.

The key is to go at the end of the month or on a wednesday. Tell them if you get their best price that your willing to buy that day. In addition, go on kbb,com and get the invoice price. that way you know what kind of profit they will be making on you.

I have also been shopping around all over the bay area for a good deal on a G35 coupe 6mt w/leather, but everywhere i have gone i have been offered nothing but MsRP, sometimes even more than msrp. Well let me know if you find any dealership willing to negotiate down from MsRP.

I was just there a couple days ago and they tried sell me a copue 6mt for 2395 mark up from msrp, but the mark up came with lo jack, guardian, and detail, but that's a pretty raw deal, so i told i would think about it. I guess they are demanding msrp all over the bay area
