a few pics from Stillen Day

Overall it was good fun, I really wish that it hadn't rained so I could get my car dynoed. Here are a few pics I took.

You can tell that I'm into brakes. At some point I'm planning on 13" Stoptechs.

Notice the white g35 coupe with smoked-out corners, it also has clear turn signal....I wonder where he got that done?

yea he is the one who put the BMW X5 Xenons in his car. I asked him and he said he took out the entire headlight. Put it in the oven. Then took off the top plastic part of the light. Broke the orange part. then put back the top plastic part and Vwolah he has clears. I wouldnt do it because for sure i would mess up. Search for projections and you will see his car even more in detail.

Here r few pix of my ride waiting @ the Block.Sorry for the quality of the pix, reduced the size too much =D

Its was me & reckelss, we got to the Block around 10am. Waited a little bit, didnt see anyone decided to take off. But right when we r taking off. We saw Sherwin, and another guy (sorry forgot ur name) waiting at the parking lot. So just the four of us cruise to the Stillen.
Here r few pix on the freeway.

Arrived at Stillen.

This is the craziest coupe (paint job) ive ever seen... Its good for how, but i would do that to my coupe. Its got marble type paint job, matching wheels and interior too. Suprise he didnt paint the brake calipers the same color lol...

Yeah that custom G was nice.. paint resembles the brickyard color found on the Z too much. I would of done it differently, but nonetheless, LOOKS GOOD =)

Re: a few pics from Stillen Day

Thanks rashman for the 411,

I used to do that when I had my '96 civic coupe. I cleared out mine and several of my freinds. I probably cleared out 60+ headlights including accords. I could probably do it on my G but i just don't know how and haven't have time to figure out how to get the headlight piece out. Anybody know how or know a thread that discuss on how to do it?

Re: a few pics from Stillen Day

It's really not hard to clear out the lights.

Take off the bumper. I would recommend getting the service manual if you don't have one already. You'll have to remove several 10mm bolts at the bottom and 2 screws on each side.

Take off the lights. It's held in by about 4 bolts.

Open the headlight up. Whatever method you like. Oven, water, blowdryer...

Take out the orange circular piece. you'll have to somehow cut it out, since it's cemented in.

Then reverse the steps.

If any of you guys want me to do this for you (in the LA area), I can do it for $75 (to clear out the light). This is just a bit more involved than blacking out the headlights, but no where as complicated as putting in projectors.

about stoptechs

i am working on trying to get a discount on stoptechs. as you know that stoptech does NOT normally do discounted pricing nor do they allow GBs.

i am trying for 17.5% off listed retail prices on www.stoptech.com.

email me if you are seriously interested at wan2bfast4vr@yahoo.com

that is all

sincerely,
eugene

Re: about stoptechs

Great! Let us know what you can get. I'll have to save up a bit of money though, since I can't put down that amount of money in the next few months.
