Re: infiniti of montclair

I took my car to Montclair for her first service, and the experience was not good. I printed out a list of items for them to perform, and they neglected EVERYTHING after item #2. Here was the list I gave them:

1. Oil Change

2. Please inspect front-right tire: there is a nail in it.

3. Please inspect per Service Bulletin 03028: Car drifts to the right

4. Please inspect driver’s side windshield wipers: it is noisy

5. Please inspect engine per Engine Recall

6. Please inspect brakes under new warranty parameters

7. Body Control Module Customization Preferences:
 Reprogram Headlamp Illumination delay to Mode 2:
No Delay (lights turn off immediately)
 Reprogram Hazard and Horn Reminder to Mode 4:
Lock = 2 flash, 0 horn /// Unlock = 1 flash, 0 horn

So now I have to take my car back and have them do the other stuff.

Oh, when I called to set the appointment, I asked for a loaner. They confirmed I would have one. I double-checked at the end of the call, "So I will have a loaner, right?" "Yes," he said.

So I show up for my appointment, and of course, they did not have a loaner ready for me. They had to send me to Enterprise, and I ended up getting a Pontiac Grand Am. Infiniti paid for it, but I did not like the way the whole thing was handled.

Tinman, if you end up going to Montclair, please let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
jimmy

Re: infiniti of montclair

I bought my G there and that went ok.... So far for service I have had my oil changned there and they wash my car when ever I feel like it. I am waiting for the to order some sillicon that they say will fix the rattle I have in the passerger door. I dont think I will work but ill humor them for now. I did get a loaner FX35 when I had work being done though.... I give em a B- for now.

Re: infiniti of montclair

I didn't buy my car there, but I've taken my qx4 & my cpe there to have the there brakes fixed on my qx4, & just a normal service for the cpe, they fixed the oil streak on the cpe, when I took it to where I bought it & they couldn't. So I give them a B* also. could of been better of corse, but I'll go back.
