DEC 27th BIG MEET - Cruise Map

Hi all,
The cruise directions and map are up!

Page 1 - Directions
Page 2 - Map
note: assume starting from the meeting location.

Thanks to all that went out to help do the dry run It turned out decent besides a few 'bumps' here and there. This cruise will take you as high as 7000 ft. and if the conditions are right, some scattered snow. Diehards will also be happy to learn this isn't your 5 min. walk in the park cruise, but before some of you faint upon learning the estimated time of the cruise above, I can assure you it's a fun route and well worth the effort. Hours will pass before you even know it.

Waypoints have been integrated into the map to assist those who own NAVIGATION units. It will take some time to program in the Waypoints, so do allow yourself some extra time before the cruise begins.

Lastly, you should all know this is NOT a race. Be smart and safe. Be on the look out for bikers (both motor and pedal), rocks/boulders, weather conditions, COPS, and the occasional squirrels.

Have fun guys n gals,

Clint (THX723)

-----------------------------------------------
Infiniti NAV Waypoint instructions:

Refer to Map for address/cross street.
1. Enter Final Destination address. (ignore 'you have arrived' message)
2. Press 'Route' and select 'Edit Route'
3. Highlight 'Waypoint' and click button
4. Enter Waypoint information according to the MAP (either as cross streets or address). Enter the City 1st then punch in the street/route names will narrow down the selections greatly.
5. Repeat step 2-4 for additional Waypoints.

Note: Once you have more than one Waypoints programmed in, be certain you are selecting the right 'Waypoint' button *under* not 'above' the last Waypoint.

I've already ran through the programming process with Steph (G35Chic), so go bug her during the meet if you need help

Also remember to reset your trip miles so you can keep track where you are! thanks!

We will also all stop at waypoint 3 to gather everyone up! We will stop mutilple times along the way to rest and talk!

Yes, unfortunately I will be in the Bay Area (Palo Alto/Mountain View) for X-mas. I'm just helping out with setting up for the meeting. You all have fun now!
