Has anyone used 93 Octane in their sedan automatics?
I know Gurgen has.
Where can we go to get 93 Octane gas in the bay area?
Any information would help.

I used 100 octane in my car - mixed-in with 91.

I think premium is 91 all over California. When I lived Illinois it was 93 and I remember seeing 92 in some other states. I've never notice any difference between any of them when I fill up with any of my cars (they all are premium only from manufacturer recommendations).

Where do you get 100 Octane? I have looked all over (though not thouroughly) and have never found any.

 

you get it at a local airport

 

The airport gas is 100LL - low-lead. Make sure it is unleaded , otherwiesr the lead will foul up your sensors on the first tank of gas....

100UL gas is available in 2 locations in L.A. that I knwo off (Pasadena and West Covina) and in 2 loacations in NorCal (redwood city and san jose). They are all unocal 76 stations and the prcie is between $4.99-$5.35 per gallon! I have tried both of the socal locations, but the NorCal ones are farther away from S.F. - so I never have.

there's another post on here about a person who used 1/2 a tank of 100 octane and said he didn't feel any difference.

Sears Point Raceway, aka Infinion Raceway.

You pull to the gate and tell them you're going to the gas station. They make you sign the waver for entering the raceway and you're proceeding to the 76 station to the right. One pump has 110, 112 and 116 but they are all leaded. Another has 92, 96 and 100. The last one being 4.78/gallon last time was there.

I filled up my 240 there, I had about 4 gallons of 91 in the tank, I added 7.5 gallons 100. First impression, I thought engine was going to die, than i realized it is no dying it is just very quiet and smooth. Noticable performance gains. And better gas mileage.

Needless to say I wasted most of that precious petrol standing in $#&% traffic on the Bay Bridge.

Once my breakin is done I will go there again and run a quarter with 91 and than with 100. I think Wednsedays they have open day for drag.

 

Do you know where in Redwood City, this Unocal 76 station is located at... all the one's I could find only have 91 octane.. Thanks

 

I work in Redwood City, which 76 station has it? I would like to see the price, LOL.
