Granted I am new and yes I've searched around the forums, the only problem is I do a search for "tint" and anyone that has posted with "tint" in their sig comes back with a reply, so I get a bunch of worthless threads.

I'm just looking for a place in OC that any of you guys have used to tint my G. I see theres quite a few places in LA, and I'm willing to drive up there but I'm looking for something local (so I dont have to take an entire day off just to get my car tinted). Thanks!

Heh...I could have done THAT...I was just curious about where other people have taken their cars too.

Im not too comfortable yet with leaving a 35k car with a bunch of yahoos that are used to tinting riced out Hondas. Hoping to find someone respectable that someone else has used...

d@mn it !!! there goes my lunch. got mine done at usa tinting (is on the list) from what i know mine was the 4th one that they done back in early nov. hint,hint...when you do the search.instead of "tint" key in "tinting" search all forums and back like last 6 mos.

Dont beleve all the stuff you read here. I went to one in LA that charged $250 and I still have lint in the drivers side window. I went back to have them fix it and they told me "ordinarily thats considered acceptable"

Gezz, you pay top dollar and they make excuses. They did agree to re-tint, but guess what, when I got home and cleaned the window the next day the lint was in another spot.

I went back again and they just pushed on it and said "is that ok" I pointed out other flaws and now we are on round two but they were too busy to fix their mistake.

If they dont get it right the third time, I will post their name here for all its glory. I mean really, the shop down my street that does detailing only wanted $120 and the gaurnteed thier work. Guess you dont always get what you pay for.

"A Tint Of Class" in Fountain Valley did a great job on my car.
714 964 4204 ask for John. He can even paint the black dotted area on the top of the rear window cleanly instead of putting tint over it to avoid getting those little bubbles if you want.
