For the lady in the black G with the INJEN intake...
Im sorry someone lied to you and told you the RT Cats loose torque.. It is actually CAI's that loose torque!
__________________________________________________ _
Your dispelling someone else's theory on RT cats and laying claim to your own on CAI's. People love to talk about intakes. And which one is the best alway's brings out the opinionator's. But it's never a discussion of fact's, no one post's dyno's to back up what they say. I know the theories, Doug's OEM pressurization theory, and the long tube is harder to draw from theory. But when we say CAI's loose torque, I'd like to know what information exists that show's this as a ironclad fact, which you mush know of or else you wouldn't have be spreading the claim around as such. I've never seen a dyno on ANY car that added a CAI that show's torque loose.
BTW, props to you for driving all that way to a meet, shows you have style IMO.

First off Bro, Do not under Estimate our Texas Summers. One of the first mods I did to my Z was a JWT POP Charger ( there wasn't a CAI out of the Z yet in Nov. 02) I loved the increase of low end torque and the Growl. but as soon as the Temp started to rise (over 80) I could REALLY tell that the engine was being heat soaked and loosing HP. So I pulled off the POP and put on the AEM CAI. Major Difference I gained 3hp over the pop Charger but lost 2 lbs of torque. After having both, The pop Charger is good for the Low end But a CAI is Betteri for the Hi end and over all.
Yet further down the page their are the post by alex30327 that claim to show less air flow for long tube CAI's. That would do towards Doug's pressurization theory. But, alex30237 did another post where he spells out that he gained HP and Torque from stock by adding, Injen CAI, Injen exhaust and Nismo headers. Went 227.4 HP and 216.8 torque (run was done in 5th gear). To, 251.6HP and 244.9 torque (run done in 5th gear).

Review here by Injen CAI (just a opionion, no dyno)
"6) The car felt more "torquey" in lower gears (1,2 mainly, and little at 3 but generally your going atleast 35mph by the time you hit 3rd). It feels as if that you hit the gas, you'd go flying."

I don't give a [censored] what any of it says. My car is fast and if you don't think so bring it on.
And why didn't you bring this to my attention at the meet? You should have voiced you opinion to my face about the cats and Injen intake. How did you respond?
The lady in the black G
P.S. Be sure to look me up at the next meet, I'll be looking forward to it.
