GM is having a big test drive day where you drive ALL the GM cars and then test drive the competition.

Space is limited! FOOD, FUN & a CORVETTE SPEED COURSE! Kids and guests can come. These events are way to cool to pass up.

We are registered for the Sat 1/31 at 1:30pm.

Hey Ted, Just signed up.

Been to the last one at El Toro. That was before we bought the G.

Yep.... The Hummer and the Vette had someone riding shotgun while you were driving, and you can only drive them once, and they keep track by punching a hole on a braclet you wear. You also first have to drive the regular cars before you advance to the H2 & Vette. All the other cars your can test drive as many time as you want.

There was also a free lunch and at the end you take a survey and get a goodie bag which had a t-shirt, etc. Overall it was a fun day.

Anyways, just like the t-shirt said "The World's Only Auto Show Where We Hand You The Keys".

 

ya... just like Lexus', Fords', Mercedes' and Edmunds'

but being a computer geek, I never pass up a free tshirt! PM when you're going...if the same day we could car pool or yum cha before!

They're doing it the 15th - 18th in San Diego at Qualcomm. Unfortuately, I'll be out of town from the 15th to the 19th. Bummer. Hopefully I can make the Mazda Rev It Up event sometime in March. They should be showcasing the new 3.

Just so you know ... yall should sign up for as early in the day as possible. They are not done in 'session' as you'd believe. Once you check in ... you can stay as long as you want.
wouldn't that be something if they'd let us drive the new C6!!!
I'm sure it's just the old C5 and C5-Z06.
