I agree, I think it is a great idea! But are we going to meet first then head up north for the meet? Can Nick send us all an email once plans begin to cement more?

 

I agree there wouldn't be any conflicts having this meet and planning future events for larger crowds.

I'll try to talk to Nick this weekend. I'm sure he'll agree that this planning / lunch / drive (small meet) is a good way to brainstorm new ideas and to include others! The "committee" i feel should be chozen by Kyle and Yuichi who own the site.
They do own this site after all and they should be there with us? Do you guys and ladies agree with me on that?

Perhaps I should've gotten the "ok" from Kyle & Yuichi before I started this meet. I wasn't aware of the problems it could possibly create. I figured it would be awesome to meet the G owners from the Bay Area since I see so many of them on the streets. Sorry guys!

Wow i had no clue the mods over here has to say okay before a meet happens.

 

No we don't have to get "yuichi's and kyle's" ok to get together. They're pretty cool about stuff like this.

It was just my opinion - they rarely make it out to the meets anyways - WILL please post location site -

Oh our meeting is in Redwood City at Noon we should be there by 3pm easily -

Hey Wil,

Start a new thread.

Set the meet date/time just the way you already did. Saturday, 01/31/04 at 3:00 pm.

Add the location of the 3:00 pm meet, the time we plan to roll out, and the time we expect to be at our lunch location (just in case someone misses the meet and drive, they could make it for lunch).

Also include the location of the lunch and begin a new list, starting with yourself as number 1. Keep the list going, similar to the So Cal list. That list worked because it gave EVERYONE an idea of how many people will show up. Some people on the fence will show up when they see lots of people coming.

We have a a little more than a week.

The "staff" mtg is taking place at 12:00 noon in Redwood City, like Bob said. I really don't see it taking more than 2 hours. We should not have any types of problems making the 3:00 meet.

Like I said, start a new thread and have people post to that one.

I would NOT recommend changing the meet times. It's great you are trying to be accomodating, but it will create more confusion. Set a date and stick to your guns. Can't make everyone happy.
