Has anyone heard a strage noise when they pulled there emergency brake up ?? because 3 days ago i pulled it up and then i heard something that sounds like a "snap" it was pretty load ....but i blew it off because it was still working well yesturday it made the same noise ...is it cause i pull it up to hard ?? i have a g35 coupe 6mt ..should i taken it in for a check or do you guys think its okay? thanks for taking the time to read this post. and sorry if it makes no sense im late for class...bye

 

I'd say take it in.

I know my brake needs to be adjusted as do/did other people here. It just doesnt hold. Maybe they have some "thing" with their emergency brakes.

To keep this thread on topic.....yeah, you should go to the dealer to look at your emergency brake. =)

 

My foot slipped off the E brake a couple of times and when it snapped up it made a very loud bang. Actually popped off the spring twice. Had to have it reinstalled at the dealer.
