I finally got my refund check from the DMV today!
Time to lower my ride now...WHEW!

I paid $791.00 for my plates ($25.00 for special plates) and got back $488.17 <$302.83> which sounds much better!

Feels good, doesn't it? I remember getting my $300 check from the DMV for the "Smog Impact Fee Refund" after bringing my old Accord here from out-of-state.

For all the guys who have received thier refund checks what is the first letter of your last names? I heard they ship the checks out in alphabetical order. Just wondering if there is any truth to that. Because my last name starts with a L. I'm guessing I won't be getting my check for a while then. I'm due to get back like $400 which I'm planning to use it on some Cusco sways. =)

I would guess they'd process them in the order the registrations came due in the first place.
