i'm down for vegas just not on labor day, sept. 6th is my birthday and although it is cool to be in vegas; i'm going to enjoy a free track day with the other love of my life (my motorcycle)

yeah i would go, schedule permitting.. i understand why you would want a long wknd for more time, but its not very fun sitting in bumper-to-bumper traffic in the middle of the desert on the way to/from vegas; paying an exhorbitant amount for hotels; dealing with large crowds; etc.. a regular wknd, i think would be better.. just my 2cents.. in the meantime, maybe we could look into some alternative routes to vegas.. since the I-15 from socal stuffs up and/or is full of happy ticket writing chippies.. could we go in from the western end of AZ or thru death valley and arrive into vegas from the north, it could be a cruise at the same time.. of course we might miss the mad greek cafe, so i dont know if im willing to take that chance, oh well just throwing out ideas..

How about the weekend before memorial day. Most people will be holding off for Memorial Day. With a large group, we can probably get VIP passes to the buffet at the hotel we are staying at. Otherwise there is always Denny's! Ain't nothing like a Super Bird and a cup of Joe after a hard morning's gambling.

1)find out about the parking about parking for 80-150 cars.this is a guessing number.could be more or less.we need atleast 3 hours during official meet...
2)room rate.group discount.what kind of rooms avaiable...
3)lunch/dinner.consider banquet hall,ball room,restaurant,all you can eat buffet...
4)cruise route.about 20-40 miles run will do just fine...
5)activities in and around the hotels...

One of our stops definitely has to be Zzyxx Rd., it's just one of those things, y'know.
I think a great place to gather for all us So Cal and some of you Central Cal people would be at the Outlet mall in Barstow. We could all line-up at the Jack-in-the-Crack drive-thru and order 300 Breakfast Jacks.
