Will we ever have a meet in the middle of Los Angeles?? Have we ever? The price of gas is kinda high and it kills me everytime I drive to a meet thats 30 miles aways... just wondering

Ohh yea the beach sounds good. I think Zuma will do it because it is usually lite compared to the other beaches.

Since I'm in Santa Monica I think it would be cool to have one over here. The two main problems with having a meet on the west sideis finding a parking lot that can accommodate us and there aren't any good cursing locations. If we could find a place over here that could handle that number of cars I guess we could head up toward Malibu for a cruise.

There are a few streets/canyon roads that are fun to cruise on, the problem is, and always will be, hellish traffic. The popular beaches like SM are overcrowded on the weekend, so we in west LA would still have to drive kinda far up the PCH to find something for us. driving up towards Malibu is nice, and there are some cool lookout spots along the way, just watch for cops. They know everyone speeds on the PCH LOL

We did the Woodland Hills to Neptune's Net via the canyon last .... October? Great cruise.. and the Harley's didn't mind us too much at Neptune's Nest although food took forever..

I say its time for an OC meet. I am not in OC, but here's what we've done in the last 7 mos, or so:

Torrance/Palos Verdes
Woodland Hills to Malibu (neptune's net)
Gardena (Nissan) - Palos Verdes
City of Industry to Hometown Buffet to ....??
Duarte....Performance Nissan to Angeles Crest

There must be a drive somewhere in O.C. thru laguna, san clemente or back in Irvine somewhere.

West side is just crowded! Remami has an audio shop in Mission Viejo. I dropped in last week and we were talking about a meet where we all could meet at his shop (5fwy and Avery) there is also an Infiniti dealership next door to him. We could do a Q&A/demo on ICE, eat at the restaurant (or fast food) in his parking lot and then cruise.

Rudy... you want to elaborate or throw some timing out?

OC meet would be great. The only problem is finding a cruise route. Not much roads to cruise in OC. The only roads that I know of are Santiago Canyon and Ortega Highway. Santiago Canyon is so short that you can cruise it round trip in under 30 minutes. Ortega is quite heavily travelled on the weekends. There just aren't many good cruise roads in OC unfortunately. If someone knows of some good roads in OC for cruising, please post.

I'm all for anything near Santa Monica. I live on the Redondo/Hermosa line and would be down for anything in Torrance/PV or north in SM. Just post and I'll be there!

As for a cruise, we used to run Sunset from the 405 to the beach, back in the day.

How about a BBQ at Charles Wilson Park on Crenshaw in Torrance. They have a HUGE parking lot and a great area for BBQing. This park almost takes up an entire city square block. Let me know.
