Yeah I cant seem to bring myself to get rid of it. I live in Long Beach so palmdale is quite a road trip for the Vdub.

Hey ... I caved in to a certain someone. Looks like I'll be heading out w. the G ladies today and Jason. I won't be competitive this time around with the 19" wheels. I'm too lazy to head home (leaving for track from work) just to swap them out for the 17s.

We are planning on leaving at 4:00pm and be there no later than 5:30. There are usually no line at that time. Comes 7:00 it gets crazy!!!!

CMON randy dont be shy its ok. Here i will tell you my first time. HE HE when i went to LACR the first time my first ET was 15.301. I Bet you DID WAY BEETTTTER than me.

so what was it dont be scared man LOL. Next time i go we will go together. I promise this time.

For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.

 

OK, but it sucked. My first run I spun the tires way too much on take off and bogged down 2nd gear and ran a 16.1! And on my second run, I had my brother in the car with me and forgot to turn VDC off and had a perfect launch but VDC engaged at 2nd gear and stopped me from accellerating until I had traction and I ran a 16.3. My reaction time for both was about 6.0. I know for a fact that I will run better next time. This was my first time ever at a track and I was nervous. I learned a lot while there and plan to return soon. I also plan on resetting my ECU because I've never reset it and I was very conservative during the first 1000 miles and I fear my car has gotten use to this. Anyway...you wanted honesty, right? Sorry #'s I know. I definitely didn't rep the G well that night, but Clint (THX) sure did. He was running some great #'s and so was Ham (ImaginG)sp? Let the flames begin.

my first run at LACR was 15.0 sec after that i couldn't run cuz of so many domestic cars there to droping engine oils all over the place damn old domestic ! (it was friday)
i wanna get better time man
did anyone hit 14 sec with stock g35 at LACR?
