Re: NorCal folks - Dealerships

go to Marin Infiniti.

they were the only ones willing to deal below msrp back when everyone was marking it up over msrp.

one guy got it for $500 below and another for $700 below back in the day.

i got it for msrp.

go to marin. they are a small dealership looking to grow.

Serramonte Infiniti - talk to Joe (sales rep), Chris (sales rep), or Jun (manager) in sales. Tell them Sam from Mach III sent you.

That who I bought my G from. She is really nice. I paid about as much as you did a last January. Their service department sucks-they filled my car with ants and then laughed about it. I got the last laugh as Nissan Consumer Affairs tore a whole in several people's A$$es. Hey they might have got the message and cleaned up their act. I hope so they were quite nice on the surface. Cathryn was extremely nice and good to work with. Good Luck on the service end...Hope its Changed for the better.

Re: NorCal folks - Dealerships

Welp.. I guess it was a no go at Frontier Infiniti.. I was hoping to get them to knock off at least $2k off msrp by saying that I had to wait 2-3 weeks to get VPP at Pleasanton than I wouldn't have to wait.. but after 30minutes of negotiating they were only willing to knock off $700.. something about being in the silicon valley people were rich blah blah blah.. oh well.. I'll just wait for my SCCA membership kit and head over to Infiniti of Pleasanton to get my deal.. hope they have a 6mt with nav by then.. cuz they only have 2 with premium but no navs in stock.

Just curious for members who have gotten it through VPP, what was the proof that you needed to show them in order for them to give it to you at VPP?

Here's the breakdown:
G35 6MT premium/full aero. Invoice price: $32777
VPP discount (1.65%): -540
Dealer delivery fee, customer portion: $805
Destination: $590
Total price: $33632

why they are two "deliver" fees? but if you can get it at even invoice is great price!

I got my 04 sedan from Infiniti of Serramonte.
Maybe it was because it wasn't loaded (Sport is the only option), but Jung gave me a great price - 27.5k versus 30.1k sticker.

The Dealer delivery fee is actually a 2.5% profit.. they charge that for vpp.. dunno why

Re: NorCal folks - Dealerships

i got my coupe from frontier infiniti on stevens creek back in december.. i went in about 1 hour before they closed, dealed for a bout 50 min and then walked out when they only offered me $800 off. as i was backing out, they ran out and told me they would give me $1000+ off msrp.

i was satisfied. it really is hard to get anything off msrp at frontier cause of so many people who come in and buy it for msrp.

BASE ACURA TLX NOW WANT A G35 AGAIN THOUGH
Re: NorCal folks - Dealerships

I got my 2nd G35 from Serramonte Infiniti for $33,395.00 + TL for 6MT SPORT non-navi no spoiler...They included the wheel locks, 3,750 mile oil change, low-jack, paint and interior protection which i wanted...I traded in my 2003.5 Sedan Sport Navi w/ 28K on it...Originally bought it at Penninsula back in 2002 tried to work with them again..but they wouldn't come down on price and insisted on puting me into another sedan which defeats the purpose of a 6MT...They didn't have any coupes at the time when I got the sedan...

Talk to MANNY MARTINEZ (GSM) / REUBEN (Sales) -

Just say Bobby Kwok refered you...I was fortunate they had the PEARL WHITE in stock..I didn't care for the NAVI this time..I decided to install an aftermarket NAVI system/Video system in the near future which offers 5.1 surround...Most likely it's going to be an ALPINE or PIONEER system...

Try Peninsula too..see if Norman Chu (F&I) Mgr. can help you..but if they can't, go to Serramonte!

That's my $0.02 worth -

(PS) The sedan I leased MSRP was $40,000.00...The payoff after 18months with 28K Miles was $34,000.00...It made more sense to start fresh with the coupe again sale prices was roughly $1,000.00 over invoice with the extras I mentioned...GOOD LUCK
