where did you folks take your G35s to tint? who do you recommend? how much did you pay?

Richard at Infinity helped me out with mine. He took care of it the same day my car was in for service. $175 with lifetime guarantee by Pro Tint Hawaii, Inc. And I got to use the loaner the whole time.

They do a lot of higher end cars like Lexus, BMW, etc.......

 

Where ever you take it, make sure that they have done a g35 before. I have heard of people getting back their cars with broken tabs and scratches. Talk to Richard at Infiniti. He can recommend a reputable shop. Then again, everyone here can also do the same. =)

 

yup, Protint is where I went, I've done my previous car there too. The guy does good work there, but he is very busy plan to leave your car there all day. I paid $160 for my tint.

 

I took all my cars to Al's tinting in Pearl City, he does a good job. I think it's about $150 for tint with lifetime warranty.

 

Long time friend and accquaintance, Special T Tinting in Kalihi did my G for $100. Dont know if that was a friend rate or what, but Keith done some of my cars in the past which turned out great.

 

Al's Tinting or Special-T-Tinting is the place to go. Geez work and quality film.

i know keith at special t but was concerned if they worked on a G35 before or not. i dont want broken clips or tabs....since you folks have gone there, maybe it will be okay. thanks!

 

just wondering: for you folks that tinted your cars, did you tint over the small dots on the rear window? i hate those...

 

I went to Keith also, he didn't tint over the dots, but I didn't ask if he could.
