Just moved here from Chicago...

...and it's hotter than hell out here!!!! "It's okay... b/c it's a dry heat, not like the humidity in Chicago" Screw that. Stick you head in an oven, that's dry heat too.

Anyways, wondering what all is up in the area. I'm currently in Surprise, but looking to buy a house in Glendale. Any good dealers? I'm pass by the dealer off of Bell and 101 everyday, and will need an oil change soon. Always used dino in the car, and wondering what weight people use down here, especially since I dont' have to worry about freezing anymore.

Thanks!

Chris

BTW. Anyone have any OEM parts they want to sell? ie Wheels or front lip?

Hey chris, welcome to surprise, there are only a few of us out here, mainly me, sirboostalot, and realtor. If your lookin for a house check with realtor hes a good guy.

For oil I use penzoil platinum 10w-30, you can get it at walmart for 20 bucks, a mobile 1 filter at checkers and i usually just bring it to fletchers tire and auto to have them do the change.

If your interested in some events we have a drive up north planned for this weekend:

As for parts I'm selling some rims:

Welcome to the valley in the desert, I believe the Infinity dealership at 91st Av and Bell Rd is one of the newest in the valley. Most dealerships are owned by the same peeps. One of my business clients, VTAIG.

dealership

Hello Chris,

I use the dealership on 101 and Bell, Peoria Infiniti for both my cars. I have a 2007 sedan and a 2003 coupe.

I run mobil 1 in the coupe, whatever weight Infiniti runs and the dealership does the full syn mobil one change for about $65. It includes a car wash and takes about an hour. Talk to Josh in service if you can he seems pretty nice, he even had them fix some other issues on my coupe for free. Interior items.

Oh I even had my two front windows retinted, they had to peel the old tint off and retint the windows at Peoria Infiniti and they charged me $60 for that. Since I made an appointment they did my oil change and tint and gave me a loaner G35 sedan for the day. Just my last experience a week ago.

Hope this helps.

Floyd

Retinting is something I definietely want to consider now... Can they just tint over the rear window?

For pads people seem to like the HAWK ones, rotors not sure havent really looked into that yet.

As far as tint I think its best to remove the old first, I wouldnt risk tinting over it.

Hawk HPS pads are good. They do make a little noise when they get hot but nothing bad.

Yes, always remove all the old tint first. I don't know any shops who will put new tint over old tint.

That's a good idea. Now that it's getting cooler we could have a install day. I'll come help out.
