We could try Vulture Mine Road in Wickenburg.

Another option is a drive to Bartlett Lake and back.

It's either pima or scottsdale rd all the way to cave creek rd and its about 15 miles from there on a nice winedy rd that ends at the lake.

I've done that, its a nice road, just gotta watch for those notorious dusty spots, its also well known to the police due to some 350z wrecks, and we gotta watch for slow *** people towing boats.

Mt Lemon is too far for me. If you guys want to do please do. I hate the drive to Tucson (2hrs each way) plus I have to go down there next week to see the in-laws.

Vulture Mine Road didn't look too curvy to me either but a few of my Prescott friends were big fans of it. I'll see if I can get more info from some of them.

Yeah Tucson was a bit of a stretch. Find out about vulture mine, if not the only other alternative is roosevelt lake, seems like there are some ok twists and some cool bridges but just not sure how traffic would be.

IMO Tucson Mt Lemon is too far. I'll do either Vulture Mine or the Roosevelt Lake ride.

So As I was exploring I found this near the area:

it appears to be a high speed test track, is that the Chrysler proving grounds?

EDIT: so according to my googling, that is the old proving grounds, it was closed in june and sold to developers, I wonder if anyone left the gate to the track open?

looks like an old airfield?

Also I'm not quite sure which track that is, its not nissan, nor volvos

this is volvo:

if you look west you can see the triangle you mentioned and and another one that you can clearly see was an old airfield, you can still see part of the runway
