I have the trunk with the cutout on it. I want the flush one. Can these trunks be simply exchanged or is there an issue with the trunk latch (or lack of a trunk pop button on the ones with the latch on back). I really dislike the cutout and am thinking of having it done at a bodyshop but it feels like a waste.

The answer was NO before.. but I saw they had a interior trunk release and extra electrical outlet conversoin.. I think if you get that kit you can put a 05 trunk on your car..

The only reason why i say No is because the 03 has an exterior release ONLY.. the 03.5 has a interior release and no exterior release..
