Re: Anyone Here From Rowland Heights?

I hate driving on Colima during weekends now. The traffic is very bad. The dad & mom's cars are all around and the ppl don't know how to drive.

The traffic in Rowland Heights (espeically on Colima and Fullerton) is very similar to the old China Town in LA City now.

I hate it hate it hate it...

I agree. Trying to turn right onto Fullerton from Colima towards the 60 fwy is just ridiculous.

This truly shows that Asian ppl have a hard time driving (I am also Asian). All the bad traffic seems to be concentrated around large Asian plaza such as the Nogales and 60 fwy into 99 Ranch Plaza; Fullerton and 60 fwy into Life Plaza; and then the Fullerton and Colima intersection into Hong Kong Plaza.

The other horrible spot in LA County is the area around Del Mar Blvd & Valley Blvd. You are almost unable to move on Valley Blvd. in that area during weekends. The story is not ended yet. A coupe new plazas are opening soon...

Really don't know what do those guys in city planning thinking!?!?!

ditto on the traffic in rowland.... traffic keeps increasing and driving skill keeps decreasing... i'm thinking about installing those bumpers they have on the go-carts over at speedzone..

Re: Anyone Here From Rowland Heights?

The only good place to drive in Rowland on Colima is between Nogales, and Fullerton Rd. I was picking up a starbuck frap on Fullerton Rd, but that was around 9pm. The roads were open. Then again, there are so many lowered accords, civics, and integras on the road at that time. I only have about 1100 miles (close to breaking it in) and there was a honda accord rev on me while driving on that road. Also in starbucks, there were two guys, 1 in a lowered C240 mercedes, and 325BMW lowered talking trash about racing against a G. The 325BMW said that in 1-4 gears he can beat the G. Then the other guy in the C240 said that after we reach 80 the G will beat us. Funny to hear stories of the G, and they did not know that I own it.

Also, there are so much ricers on Nogales at nite. There were a couple ricey civics and accords want to rice with me when I was driving back home after work at nite (around 1-2am). I just ignore them cuz I'm not a ricer.
