g35doman is completly correct. The OC people are plane out refusing to drive up for valley meet.
I was one of the organizers of the Glendale meet and most of the OC people that I met in Torrance DID NOT showed up. In fact, non showed up (as far as I remember). On top of that, they were organizing an OC meet when the Glendale was in works...
Can you tell me now that the valley meet does not make sense?
I myself don't care to much about the drive. I love driving the car to anywhere for meet. But the bottom line is that people are being ignorant about others. It makes sense for the 'big' Meet to be in the valley.

Out of the 5 meets, 2 were OC, 2 were torrance, and another in glendale.

I am the organizer of the valley meet, and I chose a valley meet on 5/31 so that the OC people will meet up with us. But G35coupe_CB is right as well, the OC people simply refuse to drive to the valley. And we have plenty of G owners in the valley, It's not like were satisfying one person's desire. On top of that, we have a great cruising street that will lead us straight to the Hollywood Canyons for a run.. (which I planned)

So out of respect, let's leave the OC people to do their meet wherever they please. THOSE OF YOU ATTENDING THE VALLEY MEET, please post in the thread I created that you are coming. The days are counting down, and I need to setup the day.. PLEASE POST with an "I am coming 100%!"

as long as most oc people won't drive to the valley and most valley people won't drive to oc, a true "unified" socal meet will never happen if we meet in either oc or the valley.

I am sure some of us will be willing to drive to the valley from OC! I will be soon enough! I will not be this time because i already said that i was going to this OC meet! But i agree with the valley people that most of us should try to make the next meet in the valley since we never had one there! It sounds cool to have all the OC people drive up in one huge group for the next meet up to the valley! Those are just my thoughts!

You know there is always SpeedZone in Industry, Ca. Almost everytime I pass by there on Sunday's, there's always a gathering. Seen the IS300's meet, the RX-7's meet, even Preludes meet there. It would be funny if a bunch of G35's roll up on a day when another car club meets. Of course that is my own opinion. ;-)

 

SPEEDZONE sounds like a good place to meet...the parking lot isnt very open tho

Damn I can't make it to either one of them.
