I down for another meet..since our last one was such a success...
I would like to thank everyone tat came out to our last meet....It was sweeeeeet..

Anyways..Here is the date for our next meet, 5-31-03

I got a couple of responses...maybe meet up in frisco this time or we can meet down in fremont and then drive up to frisco..
I found this nice little windy road..What you all think? Its a little pass frisco..Here are the directions I got..
From Highway 101 in Marin County, exit Highway 1/Mill Valley/Stinson Beach and drive on Shoreline Highway to the junction with Almonte, about 1 mile. Turn left and drive about 2.5 miles to the junction with Panoramic Highway
I think thats right...

Once we get closer to the meet date, I'll send out a meeting location...
Then after we can get some dinner or wa evers...
If you all can think of anything else too do...let me know...

Here is the meeting place..

Were gonna meet up in fremont at 10 am...and then head to san fran at 12.

We do our drive up in the hills
The drive is about 30 minutes long..and very curvy. Has some awesome views up there...There's a bunch of turnouts where we can park and take some pics..woohoo

If anyone has any other suggestions on what else to do let me know..

 

Be careful on that whole Hwy 1 / Panoramic loop, there's lots of cyclists & even some pedestrians, and lots of blind curves. Heck was there last weekend and some jerk in a car was two feet over the centerline as he came around a curve at me.

For getting there, if you want to avoid driving through SF, it would probably be faster continuing N on 880, hooking up with 80/580, then W on 580 to the Richmond/San Rafael bridge, then S on 101 (my commute!). Excuse my directions if you're already aware :-)

Its actually only bad until you pass the two forks in the road..after that...there are no more bikers...

Also, for anyone that lives up North, were gonna have a meeting place some place in frisco, so we can ya up...

Here is the plan so far…

Meet in Fremont (Starbucks) at 10AM - 12PM
Leave Fremont at 12PM to SF
Meet in SF at 1PM
Leave SF at 1PM for the route

I think Im gonna meet in SF, its easier, also I will dispatch the list of emails I have, however I think its the same as yours Don, you have most of the Bay Area peeps.
