so... been thinking of tinting my windows as well as adding the stillen front spoiler...(going to add a grounding kit and CAI on my own) but i was wondering if any other bay area people have any good recommendations for a paint/bodywork/tint places...

maybe we could create a list and maybe get group discounts... just a thought on pooling some resources

eykim, I have no experience with the body/paint shops, but Mr. Tint in San Jose did my tint and I'm very happy with the results. If you mention that you're with G35drivers.com, he might give you a discount. It's been a while since I've talked with the owner but we had a deal a while ago.

Anyone have rec's on where to detail your ride?

 

I went to Mr. Tint and he quoted me $450 for seven windows (sedan)! So I went to this place called California Auto Tinting in Campbell and they did the same job for $350. I am really happy with the work.

 

if you talk to the dealerships...they can recommend u too a body shop place...
wen i had my car fixed, yuichi referred me to Michael J's Body Shop next to strictly Z..I went there to have my car fixed..

 

I got my car tinted in Monte Claire (near Pomona, Riverside, etc..) at Acutint (www.acutint.com). They do a really good job and do the cars for Infiniti of Monte Claire as well as a whole bunch of other dealers.

 

I'll check when I get home, but I think I got my VW done at Quality Window Tinting in Santa Clara... I just called these guys (thank you yahoo yp), and they said $250 for all windows regardless of the tint shade & comes w/a lifetime warranty. Give Jim a call

Any rec's on getting a car detailed though?
