Just moved out here....Damn is it hot, but I love it!

 

I live out here, moved from Cali about one year ago. Coupe or Sedan. Me sedan.

 

Where in Cali are you from? I grew up in Ventura County (Simi Valley). What are the specs on your G? Mines a 2003.5 6mt sedan, emerald mist. Click on my user name and there are pics. I don't see too many G's out here which is cool.

We love making the road trip to Vegas, though. Did it twice this year in the new G, which handles the heat, hill-climb, and high-altitude with the A/C on max and never misses a beat.

Last trip we were caravaning with the family, and I was bringing up the rear because nobody else could keep a constant speed going uphill -- especially the old Ford Aerostar. As we entered the Vegas city limits, we were two cars and probably a 1/4 mile behind the Aerostar. My wife was driving the G, my brother-in-law (in the Aerostar) calls us on the cell and says they don't know the way to the hotel, could we take the lead. We were all going about 65. I said, "Okay, we'll take the lead." My wife hears this and floors it.. and we go whizzing by the Aerostar at 90 before brother-in-law can close his phone. She says, "That was fun."

Then, of course, we had to slow down so they could keep up. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

My only complaint is that my G showed 121 degrees farenheit today here in Vegas. Maybe I have bring it in for the recall, but I was sweating like a hooker in church today. I baby my g so much that I trailered it here for the move. The roads leading here are rock chip central. Not one chip to date!
