G35C Sighting in Maui
While in Maui, I saw a total of 1 G35C on front street. What is those square stickers you guys have on each of the car. Is it the month you purchased your car?

They're safety inspection stickers. Annual checks to see if things are okay on the car like seatbelts, headlight level+brightness, all lights working, tint percentage, etc.

Texas does that too.. annual inspections.
California is funny.. they don't care if you have a steering wheel or brakes, and your blinkers can be dangling by a wire... just as long as the tailpipe doesn't spit out too much crap.
Since we don't have annual inspections here, I've noticed a proportionatly larger group of cars here than in other states that run around with busted brake lights with white showing through, or mis-wired rear lights where the reverse lights come on with the brakes, or missing blinkers altogether.

and that other sticker ( for Oahu peeps) is called a reconstruction permit, allowing you to cruise without being hassled by 5-0. The permit just says that you are conforming with Hawaii state law for reconstructing a vehicle. Usually need these permits if youre rims are 2" or larger from stock.

Only thing I would hate if I lived on the islands is the roach infestation. I love seeing the little roaches run for cover in my rental car. I asked some people from the island about the roaches and they said it is unavoidable.
