Infiniti of Mission Viejo

Hey all,

I am going to buy a G35 within the month and I am looking at different dealerships.

I read the post on Discover Infiniti and will not be going there.
Anyone have any info on the Mission Viejo store. Is that one to watch out for?

Thank you in advance.

B -

I was in the same position as you - I live about 5 miles from the Escondido Discover Infiniti Dealership, but ended up buying from Mission Viejo.

Basically, the salesman did it for me - The Internet Sales Manager, Jim Camilleri was the best car sales person I've dealt with. Seriously. I was able to get upfront pricing from him on the G35 sedan I was looking for and my trade-in IN EMAIL. Any other dealership around here wouldn't come close to that!

I got the exact car I wanted, knew the price, and the price of my trade-in before heading up there - No messing around with haggling or any of that other crap.

I had a great experience with MV, I worked with Jim too. I was putting a deposit down for a car and brought my wife in to see it and fell in love with the pearl in the show room. It had a couple test drives under its belt, but I was happy with the deal I got

And manI love it

Re: Infiniti of Mission Viejo

Just to let you guys know what happened. I did not get a chance to talk to Jim. So this was all done by another sales person, who I won't name.

I did go to MV. All was well until I asked for a price. I was told they couldn't give me one because they didn't know how much trade-in was going to be. Some excuse like : " well if our numbers are off by $500, maybe we could give you more for your trade-in to make up the difference".

It sounded very suspisious, so I went to Joe MacPherson Infiniti in Tustin. Michael Soler gave me a price $2000 below MSRP. Maybe I paid too much but I didn't want the hassle.
My G35 Sedan is on its way. 8 weeks from now I should have it.

Thank you for the replys.

Good job! Sorry things didn't work out with MV, but hey, you made out - 2k below MSRP is a good deal regardless.

I too got my black G35s from Michael Soler. He's certainly a nice guy. I could have gotten a better deal if i've waited a week more to get my from Metro Infiniti in Monrovia, CA. with my brother. He is in the car financing business so he can get better deal. But I want the car too much to wait.....

Re: Infiniti of Mission Viejo

I posted this on a different thread, but wanted to share my wonderful experience with MV with you guys!

I bought my G35 Coupe 6MT two days ago from the Infiniti of Mission Viejo and I have to say, after the experience, I now hold one salesperson in high esteem. My sales rep’s name was James E. Camilleri and not only did I get my car MSRP, this dealership promises FREE CAR WASHES for the life of the car. So I can just pull into the dealership whenever I want (no limit) for a car wash.

My boyfriend and I co-purchased the car and were able to get the APR down to 4.99% due to our good credit. Plus, when we were deciding on either placing a spoiler on the car or tinting the windows, the manager Mike (who also owns a G35 Coupe) gave us his honest opinion that he would rather prefer the tint to the spoiler. The spoiler would have cost more by $250.

Not only did this dealership give me the car MSRP, minus all the inflated crap, they went out of the way to make sure I knew how to drive the car home. I had always wanted a manual car, and didn’t have anyone to teach it to me. I talked to James and made a deal that he would teach me how to drive it. By the time, the dealership was already closing and I had already purchased the car. James stayed with me and my boyfriend an hour and a half afterwards teaching us to make sure we would get home okay. By the time I was leaving for home, it was close to 11:00PM. James was as courteous as a man can get and understanding throughout the entire buying experience. He even called me back the next day to make sure I got home all right.

This man has class!
