Yea. I just wanna know which one is more popular. How are the brakes on the 5AT compared with the brembo brakes on the 6MT? Big difference? Also have anyone ever compare the two for like a side by side race?

i got a 5AT and i always get crap from my buddy who drives a stick 350z.. 6MT pretti much have an edge over the automatic every time, but it also does depend on the driver.. i've seen a 6mt driver who couldn't drive stick to save his life..

most people will tell you that the brembos are only good in track settings, but i believe that they are also better during everyday driving braking.. i mean, you could always go with stoptech brakes, but u can't go wrong wit the brembos that come with the 6mt..

Well brembos are definitely better in terms of performance and durability. And your right about that sticks are only faster if its using right. Well I was told that the stock brembo brakes would soon be available for the 5AT coupes as optional. But not in the mean time and your expecting a 1.5k-2k upgrade...

I know that 4 piston calipers like brembo's make a lot of squeeky noises even when it's new. And unless you plan on racing your car don't ever get the cross drilled / sloted rotors. The average life span on these type of rotors are pretty short 1 to 1.5 yrs depending on use. And you guys are correct about manual and autotrans. I can spank a few people out there who doesn't even know when to shift properly. Under shifting is a common problem. I have a co worker who drives a wrx I keep on leaving his *** because he doesn't know how to shift properly. I drive a 91 integra for everyday commute to work. The car is not stock but the rex still has a big advantage over my 91. Anyways, I have 04 Caribbean Blue / Willow 5AT with just the premium package I love it. It only has 150 miles on it now can't wait for it to be broken in.
