Thanks for the input guys.

Can we keep this thread to just the Toyo T1R and the Falken FK452 please?

Just because you have had "bad" experiences with TOYO or FALKEN, doesn't mean that the T1R and the FK452 are bad tires.

[QUOTE=Powashiftin]IDK about the 255/55 rear, I don't think that would look good. Maybe you mean 255/40 rear.
Whoops that's what I meant 255/40/19 in the rear, the overall tire heights are close to stock the widths just aren't.

I'm leaning towards the FK-452 price, treadrating, sound

I'm riding on T1r, I never got falken so I dont vote.

I do miss a bit of the steering response of the michelin. With the price difference of them I care less...

Grip is definatly not a problem for me, I still didint manage to break the grip of them or make them screem in corners. I dont track car BTW.

I'll post, tired of trying to figure out what size is best, I ordered Toyo T1r in 225/40/19 and 245/40/19 simply because they carry our size and falken FK452 doesn't

G35 Coupe "Sport Package"
I just purchased FK Grb 451 with my new wheels. I was deciding between these and Toyo T1S. Based upon things I read, the Toyo's were supposed to be noisy. I would have gotten new FK452 except they did not offer 285-35-19. My new setup is G-Games 99B 19x9.5 +22 w/ 245-35 and 19x10.5 +22 w/285-35. I should have soon and will let you know how they are.

T1-R's

I put them on today, and they are very solid tires. Honestly, just about up to par with my old tires (Bridgestone S03's). They are also much quieter and for the price, they can't be beat. I looked into the FK-452 also which would have been $100 more. Toyo's are the way to go IMO.

just before your car explodes through the 1/4 mile in 8.89 seconds, your tires will become insanely loud. lol. nothing extreme man. just that they WILL get noisy after a while. as with any tire, but Toyos are loudest.

SO3's are much stickier imho.

back to topic......Toyo's, or Falken FK452's????

FK452's get my vote still.

I have the toyos, yes they are loud. You will notice it on the highway. I'm impressed with the performance and I like the tread pattern. I had potenzas before and the only difference to me is the noise.
