Nothing beats Michelin when one considers mileage, noise, and reduced costs in balancing and rotation combined..........in each segment [identical load index and treadwear ratings].
Luckily low cost tires [low marketing , research, and labor costs] third world manufacturing without employee benefits and just meeting standards not exceeding standards brand new, are only 10-15% INFERIOR to the best at least for the first 8,000 miles of use.
