[QUOTE=OH6 G35]What are the largest size tires (front and rear) that you can put onto the '06 19-inch OEM 5-spoke wheels ? Anyone have any pics ??[/QUOTE
Check out tirerack.com/tires/spec and input which brand you want. The chart will have a rim width range column. Our 19x8F can safely take 245 and 19x8.5R can take 255. You will find you are limited on your tire brand choices.
I only got 12k on the OE Potenzas, roared loudly and feathered from 5k. I went with Pilot Sport A/S to get a much higher tread wear rating and quieter ride at the sacrifice of handling. I wanted the largest tire I could get without further mods, 19" sizes of A/S are limited, went with 245/40x18F and 275/40x18R on 18x8F and 18x9R O.Z. Ultraleggera. Still handles good, not great as with the Potenzas, but I'm not buying tires twice a year, and no more roaring tire noise.

I checked out the Tire Rack recommendations and I did notice that, as an option, you can go with 245 F and 275 R. I am wondering what this looks like and I was hoping to see if anyone has already done this. I was also wondering if there would be any "overhang" of the tire, beyond the wheel.

i just went through this same ordeal a week ago... i went around and around trying to decide what would fit and look right... i actually ordered a set of 275/35 in the Toyo T1R to put on the rear wheel... it looked awful...it ballooned out 3/4 of an inch over the lip... i am now selling my OEM 19's as i purchased a set of 19" Stern ST-1s... they (my OEM's) have new 245/40's on the front and 255/40's on the rear... the 255 fit just fine... a 265 may fit, but Toyo does not make them in a 40 and a 35 series would throw off the rolling diameter...

Different tires do present themselves differently as well.
