Do Not Ever Buy Bfg G-force Kdw

DO NOT EVER BUY BFG G-FORCE KDW! If anyone ever think about buying this tire, I would spend alittle more or less and buy something ealse! I just brought a set of 2 245/45/18 to replace my rear. holy **** these tires are so loud from 20MPH-up, it louder then the Exhaust of my Coupe! On highway, I have to turn the radio louder just so I don't have to hear them! These tires are so bad on wet ( 35-80MPH) its feel like I am driveing on slicks!

I am thinking about puting some falken or something better!

They were bad on wet surfaces? Mine (285/35-19's rear) were perfect in the rain and that was with thee car putting down 417whp. As far as the noise.. my car was kind of loud already so I couldnt tell.

I almost hydroplane 3 time doing this week, because of the tires. My Pilot sport which only had 2-3/32 were still holding way better then them on wet. Dry they are about the same, but then again I dont dog my car at all!

KDW2 should be better in the rain than you're describing. Definitely true that they're noisy as hell!

even though noisy...they probably need to be broken in. you can either drive it for a bit or just do a tiny burn out...drop clutch at like 3k or something and youll be good...

I absolutely love my KDW2's so far. A little noisy, but really not that bad at all. Worked A LOT better than I thought they would in the rain, pleasantly surprised.

Grip great, and have worn very nicely.

I had one of the first sets of KDW's out, on my Accord. They handled well but were very noisy and I have alot of Dynamat in my car.I finally took them off my car a few months ago, much quieter now with the Nittos.

I never had the chance to drive the KDWs that came on my car in wet conditions, but I had new tires installed within 4 days of buying my car - those KDWs were atrociously loud, and they were about half way through their tread.

The Nitto 555s I've had for about 3 weeks now are wonderul - quiet, good wet traction, and inexpensive, too!

I have the KDW NT the one that looks like flames and yes they are hella loud. And I thought my old tires that were feathering were loud but these are worse, kinda reminds me of truck tires. But no grip problems, and on hard cornering they don't squeel as much as the stock Pilots. If it wern't for the noise I'd say these were excellent tires.

I have 245/35 and 275/35/19s and i have nothing but praises for the tire. The first day they were slick, but once i ripped throught the gears a bit, they began to grip like none other... and that even is true with all the rain ohio's had this last two weeks.
BUT, i have to say, one of my new tires had a defect in the sidewall and was replaced the next day after initial install. no complaints since.

wonder if this guy put some miles on the tires to break in the compound on the NEW tires...i've had both kdw and kdw2's- the kdw2's handle wet traction better than the older thread design. BTW the kdw's are made by michelin and are almost the same compound as the pilots
