Luff M1 vs. Axis Hiro?

Well, I recently curbed my passenger side wheels to ****. Focking log was on the road at road work site and I couldn't see it at coz it was at night and just swiped it... ARRRRGGGGGG. I was lucky not to cause any serious damage.

Anyway, that got me thinking, maybe I should get some new wheels instead of repairing Hiro's. I'm on budget, so I cannot afford Volks or anything like that... so don't flame me too much for resorting to cheaper wheels. I'm thinking about picking up Luff M1's as they are pretty darn cheap and I heard good things about them.

The weight should be about same(26-27lbs) and both are cast wheels.

So I would like to get some opinions.

1)Repair Hiro's or get M1's and sell Hiro's for cheap?

2)Also, which color M1's do you guys think will look best on my car?

Here are pics of my car with Hiro's:

Thanks in advance!

Yeah... you guys are like 5412395th and 5412396th people to tell me to lower my car. Haha. I'm just being a lazy bum these days... I'm gonna drop the car on 04.5 Z shocks and Z H-techs pretty soon.

Anyway, thanks for the opinions. Keep them coming!

IMO the Hiro's are killer on your car. I like the Hiro's they really suit your car and the fact that I almost bought them might sway my opinion a bit .

Z H-Techs are great spring. Perfect drop IMHO. I would go with D-Specs so you can tweak your ride. What are your offsets on those Hiros?

So the majority is for Hiro's, eh? Thanks for all of the opinions and compliments I think I'll just live with the rash until winter and fix the wheels then. I might even paint the centers gunmetal or black while I'm at it.

DRG35R: I believe my Hiro's are +22 offset all around. At least that's what I was told since I bought these used.

Garyv01: I am using wide angle LED from superbrightleds.com in strips and just regular 5 or 6 LED bulb (can't recall exactly) on corners. A bit blue for my liking, but it looks good regardless.
