3.8k...ouch. That was how much I thought you would've spend. Are they forged? I spend around as much on my first set of rims for my previous car...18x8 SSR-Minerva SMC, 3-piece, forged. Nice rims but [censored] it can't fit onto my G...cuz it was made for my previous merz...the bolt pattern seem to be a bit different. Its 5x112 instead of the G's 5x114. Oh wells...i need to get rid of them first before i think of buying any other rims for my G...sigh...

masetodd,
If they did fit it would be a stretch, literally. If you look at your front tire a 225/45/18, it already looks a little stretched over the factory 8"x18" wheel. Nismos are 8.5" Front & 9.5" Rear.
You never know though it might work...

Rick, Nice photos!
As for the front sidewall being stiffer for turn in, sounds like a line to me.. Our fronts could very well be some other cars rear tires. I think its just that the 245/35 has a shorter sidewall than the 275/35 that makes it stiffer.
btw, gonna go to tgpr with us on the 24th?
Mike

Yea Mike, Still planning on going to open track at Little Talladega if there's still a spot open. How ya think the SO3's would hold up? I don't have track tires yet.
I was telling one of the other Guys that instead of a wider lip on the rear wheel of the NISMOS that the Spokes were more concave going toward the center hub than the fronts. This Photo shows that pretty while. The rear wheel is on the left...

Did you use your stock lug nuts with the rims? I test fitted my wheels one afternoon because I was bored and discovered that my stock lugs are too big. I was unable to tighten the lug with my torque wrench. The socket (21mm I think) wouldn't fit in the lug area.
Did Gruppe-S send you lug nuts with your purchase? What size lugs are you using?
