wheel lock question

wheel lock question

Do they sell wheel locks that have a unique key for each set. As in, if you buy a similar set (same company), that key wont work for another set. Thanks.

all wheel lock sets come with a unique key or else whats the point.

I think what he is asking is if there is a lock with only 1 key in the world. no, that would be too expesive to tool and there wouldn't be enough combinations. But the likely hood of someone having the same key as you is remote as they do make a lot of combinations.

Look for a lock with a smooth round side and the key on the end of the nut, this is a little more secure. The styles that have a key on the sides can sometimes be removed by pounding on a regular socket.

I believe either McGards or Gorilla has 4 different keys... just get all four if you're really worried that much. I'm sure not too many people have all four keys...
