Necessary to remove Volks for body shop work?

When i have my INGS+1 kit installed next month, I am worried about my volks getting screwed up, especially the lips. Do others leave your nice rims on to go into the body shop for work or are they going to f them up?

easy fix, didnt even think of covering the lips in tape before taking it in. I have heard that volks lips are touchy, is blue painters tape going to discolor the anodization of the lips?

If you're getting the ings kit installed, they're not going to paint the pieces while on the car. They'll finish painting before installing the kit... unless you're molding the kit.

If you're really that worried about your wheels, just buy some cheap 17" stockies

If you have second thoughts about it, go with your gut.

Just borrow some wheels. It's not like they are going to get miles on them
