Guys looking at purchasing a set of 19x9.5 ADR M sport classics for the rear and need to know if +35 offset and 275/30 tires will fit fine without any additional work like rolling fendres, etc. I have searched and found +38 seems to be the ideal setup for the sedan rear. Can i fit a +35 without rubbing issues? Thanks in advance.

 

With a 9.5" wide wheel and that offset you will definitely rub the fenders. You need somewhere around a +45 offset for that wide a wheel.

So will a +38 offset work? And what if lowered?

 

I was told by someone at Stillen who has a sedan with 9.5" rears, that +38 MAY work, but you have to be very careful with the tire size. +42 will work for sure. This is all assuming you're not going to roll the fenders of course.

 

I ordered a set of Ruff 277's in 8.5 +35f, 9.5 +38r on 245/35/19f, 275/30/19r but am seriously thinking about cancelling the order or trying to change to a larger rear offset. Should I? Also I want to lower my '05 sedan on Eibachs.

 

The rims i got now are 9.5 rear with +44 and they look very good, nice and flush with the body. Got a 275 tire in the rear and have not rubbed so far. I still have to install the rear camber kit so not sure how that will affect the rubbing if it brings + camber to it. A +38 is very close and you may have to roll fenders depending on how wide the tire is and how much camber you have.

 

Would you recommend a camber kit? How much do they cost? I just dont want the car to look stupid.

 

depends how low your ride is. Usually 1" or less you may not need anything, just make sure you get an alignment done every tire rotation or when the tire rotation is due if you are staggered.

 

Here's the thing. A +38/9.5 is already prone to rubbing the fender. The negative camber created by lowering will help with the rubbing, but the camber kit will bring the tires close to the fender again. You would be better off getting a bigger offset (+45). If not keep your negative camber.

^yes it will eliminate rubbing if u have more than -1.0 camber in the back.
