anyone know about maya's (dazz motorsports makes them)? are they forged? how good are they? thanks!

 

Volk Racing and Nismo are my two favorite, basically anything made by ray's is a very good wheel...specially volk and nismo

 

I love the look of the Maya DTS's and also the GR5. I was looking at Volks....but wanted 20's and volks only come in 19's. Bought ZR5's Hyper-Silver 5Zigens 20's.

 

dont forget the BBS RS-GT. i got them on order nwo but its taking a super long time. BBS makes some fine wheels

 

However as someone who used to Assemble and Repair 3 Piece wheels.(Epsilon Wheels) And was the Warehouse manager. I can Say that I am Most Impressed with HRE Wheels. The Fit And Finish of those wheels are Outstanding! If I had over a Grand A piece to spend on wheels That would be My First Choice.

Yes, weight of the vehicle is important for the performance of the vehicle. It also affects gas mileage. Here's a very simple way of looking at it.......if you go jogging and wear some heavy rubber boots vs. lightweight cross training shoes, you would end up utilizing more energy to run in the rubber boots and also run much slower.

Unsprung weight is important because of inertia, which is also something you would need to consider for flywheels. That is why more power is utilized properly when you use a lighter flywheel. Acceleration is increased because it'll take less effort for the engine to spin the wheels.

 

Avoiding potholes is the best way to not bend rims. All rims will bend/break.
