Question About Michilin Piolot Sport PS2's
I got a quote for 1089.00 installed and out the door for
2 - 225/40/19
and
2 - 245/40/19
These are for the stock 19"s. Can I get a better deal than this?
Also, what do you all think about this tire in general? Thanks

tirerack.com quotes $317/each front & $284/each rear. so, that's $1200 already. i think you're getting a damn good deal - mount/balance is usually $30/wheel, and quite a bit more if you road-force balance.
figure out what you are getting quotes for rubber, then figure out what they charge for mount/balance - then you'll have better picture. rubber price can always be found cheaper. however, mount/balance depends on whether you trust the place to not mess up your rims. i would pay $300 instead of $150 just to have a complete guarantee that the rims will come out completely unscathed. but then that's me.

p.s. i think that tire is awesome, if you can afford it and if you don't drive in cold weather (when this tire's rubber turns into rock).

The problem is, I do drive in cold weather...
well, cold would be fine. it's when you take them to snow or on icy roads that the "max performance summer" really makes it shine. unless you are a rally car driver, you will not be able to drive on these in a snow. or ice. or sleet. you may want to consider all-season performance tires, with the winter coming up. /me subscribed to answer more questions.

I can't seem to find any all-seasons for our cars for the 19" wheels.

The 245s are better on the front than 225s and yes,
you'll enjoy the Michelins. (that's my setup)
Tirerack has the All season michelin listed as option tire sizes for the 19 wheels.
I have them on my car and love them. I had them on my last g35 with the 18 wheels and no problems up to 5 inches of snow. Great tire.
