have them do a road force balance and if you still vibration,
have them redo the balance for free.

even before that though, DiscountTires has ALWAYS put mounting
marks and scratches on my wheels. i never let them handle my
aftermarket wheels.

Dumb question... why?

I mean, wheels are wheels, no? If they're going to be careless they would be so with anything? Or do aftermarket wheels need special handling every time? Not being funny, genuinely curious.

EDIT: I got them installed, was able to watch and they did nice work as far as I can tell.

Tire Radial force imbalance [caused by a stiffer than average or softer than average spot around the sidewall of tire]...........oem specs are 14 pounds, a really really sensitive driver can feel 5 pounds of imbalance if the road is smooth enough.

What and how often you spend depends on how much of a prefectionist you are!

Make me Comfortably Numb, then... I am not a perfectionist although I like a smooth ride. The thing that bothers me is a non-centered steering wheel, which has now happened (although very slightly) after getting this new set installed yesterday. I did check for even pressure all around. Slight steering dip to the left, and have not driven the car enough to see if it tracks straight under all conditions although it seems to be doing so.

BTW, what is the correct tire pressure for a Yoko Avid V4S? The tech said and did 35. The ride is smoother but interestingly is also more transmittive of road bumps. I suppose this is goodness.
