17'' ASA JH3 winter setup on 06 coupe?

I recently traded in my 04 6MT coupe for an 06 6MT coupe, and was just wondering if anyone knows if I can still use my same set up from the 18'' with brembos.

I bought the 17'' ASA JH3 wheels with M3 Sport tires from Tire Rack, and when I called them to ask if they will fit on the 2006 with 19'' stock the guy wasn't sure. He said as far as he knows it should be ok, but I'd thought I check here and see if anyone else is doing this setup.

Ok come on people, I'm sure someone has an opinion at least on this subject. I've read that the 06 need to have offsets, but not sure if anyone has tried this yet. Not sure if my VDC will go crazy.

shouldn't be a problem, the brembos need more clearance than the 06 brakes, so if they fit on your 04 then they will fit on your 06
