SEDAN: lowering opinions

I have a sedan on stock OEM 17" AL wheels

I was wondering what the recommendations (and pros / cons) are for lowering it an inch or so.

I"m all ears (or eyes)

zimbo- i have heard that the ebiach springs over time when they settle down are lower then the 1.1" drop they offer. is this true? i think a 1" drop would look great on my sedan but i am worried it would settle too much for my tast.

Well, what do you want out of your lowed suspension? What are your priorities?

Do you want a 100% like stock ride? Do you want a soft ride and a bit of performance? Or are you performance driven and willing to give up some ride comfort?

100% like stock ride= Eibachs, Teins (watch out for the drop amount on the Tein springs)

Stock ride with a bit of performance= HKS hypermax LS coilovers or Tein CS coilovers (with the Tein's having adjustable dampeners, vs the HKS LS being non adjustable dampeners. Both of course can adjust for height).

Performance and willing to give up some ride comfort= HKS hipermax II coilovers, Tein Basic coilovers (Caution, might automatcally drop a sedan more than one inch) Jic is about to release their Flat-2 coilovers for the sedan, but their choice in spring rates will inhance the understeer we already have and will be a poor choice for the performance market they are trying to reach.

Performance and willing to give up a fair amount of ride comfort= Tein flex coilovers, Jic flat-2 ment for the Z. ( Be carefull on the Tein flex coilovers, their are several owner reviews, but their running a softer older setup. Tein has since stiffened up the specs of the flex system for all Z and G applications).

Hey GSedan35,

Any feedback on the Cusco Coilovers?

P.S.
For those who care. I drive a Silver Sedan 6MT CA license plate "KRZ HAYN" = "Krazy Hawaiian". A "Shaka" is always welcome.
