Will going from 17" to 16" affect speedo?

My snows arrived and I just thought of this.Anyone know?

It depends on the tire size. What size snow tires did you order? Do you have a coupe or a sedan? It's the outer diameter of the tire that needs to be the same as your stock tires to keep the speedometer/odometer in sync.

I have a sedan.The snows are 205/65/ 16.

That is actually the stock size for the '03 cloth sedan that comes with 16" wheels, and is very close to the 17" tire diameter. It's roughly 0.7% larger, or when your speedometer reads 60, you'll actually be going 60.4. Negligible difference.
